Hi all,
My new Hillman is positive ground. As I will probably want to put a cd player in it eventually I will have to
convert it to negative ground. Can someone tell me what is involved in doing this? I did read one
article on the internet that said along with changing the battery leads around (obviously) and switching the two leads
on the coil one must re-polarize the generator. This, the article said, is done by momentarily (1/2 a second or less)
running a wire from a hot terminal on the ignition or fuse block to the field terminal on the back of the generator.
This article was the only one I found and referred to MGA's so any help or info on differences in doing this to a Minx is appreciated.
Thanks,
Alan M.

Alan,
That's about all it takes, but you also have to reverse the wires on your ammeter, if you have one.
