Bob Jennings wrote the article.  This was before he was motoring editor of the Advertiser, just a normal journalist, doing travel stories, I think.  Bob Bishop was motoring editor at the time, and when he tested cars, Bob Jennings would try them out as well and write stories for the Sporting Car Club's magazine.
