Prototype for the 1932 Minx in the Coventry Transport Museum, England.
Chassis 1 Engine1 Body 1 – has several differences to the production model:
  • The roof finishes in a peak over the windscreen
  • The windscreen is different
  • The headlamp bar passes in front of the radiator rather than through the shell
  • The bonnet sides are different having 2 catches rather than 1 centrally as later models.

The 1933 model is virtually identical to the 1932 model except for the 4 speed gearbox and paint and trim differences.  The standard model does not have a sunroof and bumpers (available as optional extras), has leatherette rather than leather, and black painted head and side lights.

1934 Minx De Luxe in England

The 1934 and 1935 models are virtually identical.  The radiator has a slightly sloping grille and different core, the bumpers are single pressed steel, and the rear of the body kicks out to cover the fuel tank.  The wings are also deeper and flared with a more substantial running board.
